Aside from their pretty looks, crystals are said to promote higher states of wellbeing and feelings of tranquility, positivity, balance and focus.

Crystals are naturally occurring rock formations, and have been used in ancient civilizations for rituals, medicine, and beauty routines. In our modern society, crystals are used in major tech products - like cell phones, TV, computers and watches. Fun fact: Quartz (Silicon dioxide) was found in the late 1800’s to have a consistent and repeatable response to applied pressure. It vibrated at an extremely reliable frequency. In the hands of the right genius, the technology was applied in electronics as a method of keeping time. It’s vibrations were that consistent! It’s such a major keystone to the age of information, that Silicon Valley was named after it!

Everything in life has a vibration, and the vibrations that crystals hold can help us to realign our energy and raise our vibration to reach a higher state of being. When we apply powerful forces like our thoughts, intentions and desires onto crystals, they react by vibrating. Each stone vibrates in different ways depending on its history, it's chemistry and on the intentions of the person behind them. Crystals absorb, store, and transfer information, and they can be attuned to our emotions to promote wisdom, wellness, love, and prosperity.

Welcome aboard the Crystal Magic train! It's time to get started on your crystal healing journey. But there's so many, how do you choose? Each stone has their own shape, color, chemistry and unique energetic vibration that we can apply to different areas of our life. They connect us to universal energy as soon as we come into contact with them. First, think about your intention and the energy you want to embody. Is there a particular chakra you're needing to work on? Are you in need of a confidence boost or perhaps more focus at work? Explore the unique properties of crystals as well as the chakras and elements they are affiliated with. Decide on the minerals that best suit your intention and goals. Let your intuition be your guide when choosing your gemstones, as it is often said that "you don't choose a crystal, the crystal chooses you".

 

PROGRAMMING YOUR STONES

Think of gemstones as the physical form of our thoughts and desires. Our thoughts are powerful on their own, and crystals act as a way to tangibly connect to the positive energy and thoughts we want to embody and amplify. You can manifest new levels of living - strength, love, forgiveness, abundance, etc by "programming" your crystals to your energy and directing that energy to your goal.

Before using your new stones, you'll want to give it an energetic reset. Cleanse your crystal with the smoke of Palo Santo, Cedar or Sage, or lay your crystals under the light of the full moon. Now that your stone is cleansed, it is ready to store your intentions. and attune to your intention. Hold it in your hand, close your eyes, and speak your intention either out loud or in your mind. Visualize what you are manifesting, and imagine the crystal absorbing your energy.

Now that your energy and intention has been stored in the physical form of a gemstone, you can keep it close by in your pocket or purse for daily support and for your moon ceremonies and rituals.
